How it works

  1. Send us photos. Use the quote form. Add your postcode and mention anything awkward, like stairs or a narrow gate.
  2. Get a price. We email you a fixed price and a few collection days to pick from.
  3. We take it away. We carry it out, load the van and take it to a licensed site. You get a waste transfer note.

These are guide prices. Bigger clearances take more than one load. We confirm a fixed price from your photos before you book. Rubble and soil are heavy, so they’re priced by weight.

What customers say

We’re still a young business, so every review makes a real difference to us. If we’ve done a job for you, we’d be grateful for one.

About us

The Waste Guys is a small team based in Ballymena. Most of our work is for householders, landlords and small businesses who want rubbish gone without hiring a skip, borrowing a trailer or doing five runs to the recycling centre.

You tell us what needs to go and we give you a price before we come out. On the day, we do all the carrying and loading. We’re a registered waste carrier, so it all goes to licensed sites, we recycle what we can, and you get a waste transfer note for your load.

Where we work

We’re based in Ballymena and we’ll go anywhere in Northern Ireland: Belfast, Lisburn, Derry, Newry, Omagh, Enniskillen and everywhere in between. Around Ballymena and Antrim we can often come the same or next day. Further afield, we’ll agree a day with you.

Common questions

The things people usually ask before booking.

Ask us about your job
How much does waste removal cost?

The price depends on the amount and type of waste, its weight and the access and loading involved. Send photos and your postcode and we’ll give you a fixed price before you book. What we quote is what you pay.

Do you cover my area?

Yes, if you’re in Northern Ireland. We’re based in Ballymena and cover all six counties, from Belfast and Lisburn to Derry, Newry and Enniskillen. Further from Ballymena, we plan the collection day with you in advance.

Can you collect today or tomorrow?

Often, yes, especially in County Antrim. Send your photos and postcode and we’ll confirm the earliest slot before you book.

Do I need to move everything outside?

No. We collect from inside your home, garage, loft, shed or garden wherever access allows. Tell us about stairs, narrow gates or heavy items so we can plan the loading.

What can you collect?

Household rubbish, furniture and appliances, garden waste (hot tubs and trampolines included), garage and shed contents, renovation waste, skip bags, and commercial and landlord clearances. We don’t collect hazardous waste or tins containing paint.

What happens to the waste?

We’re a registered waste carrier. We take everything to appropriate facilities, separate recycling where practical and provide a waste transfer note.

Got something that needs to go?

Send us a few photos and your postcode and we’ll get a price back to you, usually the same day. There’s no obligation.
